In his post-Archdiocesan Synod Pastoral Letter, Archbishop Hebda invited us to implement “radical hospitality” to equip our community with the heartfelt readiness to fully participate in the Mass. Radical Hospitality was a new idea for our staff and volunteers, and we embraced the challenge! This approach allowed parish leadership to listen to and respond to the needs of parishioners as we move our parish into the future. Along the way, we strengthened relationships with various demographic groups in the parish and learned a lot! Some of the highlights of our year included:Ministry by the NumbersAnnual Report - FY 2024-25 Encountering the Living God, Equipping Disciples, Engaging the WorldFamilies and Mass AttendanceSacraments Catholic Education• Enaging parishioners in conversation and fellowship before and after Masses with enhanced hospitality in the narthex• Offering a homily series to more deeply explore how we can encounter Christ in the Word• Launching support groups to address specific issues of care givers, divorced and separated individuals, the widowed, and more• Welcoming new people into the community at the Easter Vigil through the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults• Forming a stronger vision for our school with a greater focus on Catholic identity and STEAM• Providing opportunities for engagement in the financial health of our parish and school through the Backyard Bash and special appealWe are grateful for the support of all parishioners who offered financial support and who served in lay ministry roles to increase the vitality of our parish.
